Meeting the Unique Challenges of Aging Requires Courage and Sometimes a Helping Hand

Inspirations, Intensive Outpatient Program

As we grow older, some of us face challenges including declining physical or mental capabilities, the loss of independence, and the loss of someone we love. These changes may cause confusion, depression, anxiety, and withdrawal, making life seem unmanageable.

Our outpatient program, Inspirations, provides help to individuals suffering with emotional distress and behavioral problems that interfere with their daily functions. Depending upon the severity of their conditions, patients attend the daytime program 1-5 days a week, allowing them to return to their homes in the afternoon. Our outpatient team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed professional counselors, nurses, and support staff. Our staff works with these individuals to help them develop healthy coping skills and positive life skill plans through group therapy, individual therapy, and/or family therapy.
